Within darkness, light is borne. From the noise, a fire emerges..
Melbourne post-rock/post-metal 4-piece Light the Signal Fire was formed in 2022 by M Lisle (Guitars) and M Innes (Drums). They were soon joined by A Romanov (Bass) and M Brennan (Guitars). They sought a sound that would illuminate the noise and give birth to the fire inside.

Their first EP ‘Swandive’ was written at The Bakehouse Studios in Richmond. Recorded and engineered by M. Innes and M. Marinucci at Brown Lounge Studios in Belgrave and mixed and mastered by J. Fuller at Goatsound Studios in Preston. It consists of three meditations on darkness and on light.
